Heath

Lead Guitar/ Vocalist

Heath is a Memphis-born musician who began teaching himself keyboard at age 12 and discovered his vocal ability by 16. By his early twenties he had picked up guitar as well, developing a style shaped by the city’s deep blues and rock traditions. Over the years he has performed with several bands around the Memphis area as both a keyboardist and vocalist, and has even shared the stage with legendary bluesman Blind Mississippi Morris.

With Out of Gas, Heath steps into the spotlight as lead guitarist and lead vocalist, bringing together his powerful voice, energetic stage presence, and years of musical experience to help drive the band’s sound and performance.

Don

Guitarist/ Vocalist

Don Martin is a multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, producer, songwriter, and aspiring audio engineer born in Decatur, Georgia and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. Blending his Southern roots with a passion for experimental sound, Don brings a distinctive style and energy to every performance.

In addition to performing with Out of Gas, Don plays with fellow Memphis band Ghost Notes, produces music across a wide range of genres, and remains an active presence in the local music scene.

Brent

Bassist/ Vocalist

Brent holds down the low end for Out of Gas on bass, delivering the steady groove that keeps the band firing on all cylinders. A Memphis-area native, his driving bass lines and rock-solid timing help fuel the band’s sound from the ground up.

With a style that blends tight rhythm and classic rock energy, Brent provides the backbone that keeps the band locked in and moving full throttle. When Out of Gas hits the stage, his bass lines make sure the tank stays full and the music keeps rolling.

Matt

Keys

Matt handles the keys for Out of Gas, adding the layers, textures, and musical depth that help round out the band’s sound. Known for his unmistakably deep voice, Matt may not take the mic for vocals, but he plays a critical role behind the scenes of every performance.

From behind the keyboard, Matt also serves as the band’s onstage traffic controller, keeping everyone locked in and guiding transitions throughout the set. With his steady presence and musical instincts, he helps keep Out of Gas running smoothly from the first note to the last.

Sean

Drums

Sean has been a percussionist since the age of 11, spending his first four years studying percussion before ever sitting behind a drum kit. Born and raised in Memphis to classically trained musician parents, he developed a deep and diverse musical foundation.

With influences ranging from classical and jazz to rock and metal, Sean brings a dynamic, genre-blending style to his writing and playing — and it shows every time he hits the stage.
